Photographs of Waterfalls in Missouri
Missouri is not a place that quickly conjures visions of waterfalls. There are no grand precipitous mountain slopes with cascading waterfalls fed by glacial runoff, nor is it a state with high precipitation figures. In fact many of the clear flowing wild streams are spring-fed. However, with good timing and after heavy rains, one can find some beautiful waterfalls and often have the solitude to yourself. This is an ongoing project to find and photograph such places, but here are some from my collections.
