Composite Fine Art Photographs of Europe

Expanding beyond traditional photography I have begun creating composite photographs as an alternate processing to create truly unique pieces of fine art. Beginning with an original base image, I begin adding layers of tone and texture utilizing other images from my collection. Using images of sandstone, granite, leaves, wildflowers, etc. I begin to enhance the image in the digital lightroom. Each base image has its own characteristics that can be enhanced through the process.

I have always been drawn to paintings produced by the Husdon River school of artists from the 19th century. I find that many of these photographs bear a similar tonality. What better way to present the charm of old world Europe.
